Lithuanian Rowing Federation will provide coastal boats, oars and two boat handlers.

- Entries are open until 18th August, 17:00 (no start fee applies).
- Late entries open until 20th August, 17:00 (10 Eur per athlete).
- After the application period, crew changes or cancellations shall be made by submitting a completed “Crew Change” form to entry@lif.lt until 22nd August, 13:00.
COMPETITION RACE FORMAT
First race starts with TT (time trial) when two crews racing side by side for overall best time to pass on to next stage. Heats are every 5 minutes. Rest of the stages will be in Knock – out racing. There will be a 7 minute time gap between the races, where crews will be allowed to adjust their boats and get ready. When down to the last 8 crews, quater-finals, semi-finals and finals will run immediately after each other.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
The Lithuanian Rowing Federation will cover the accommodation and catering expenses for four athletes from each team participating in the championships. To take advantage of this offer, teams must submit their booking requests by email to info@lif.lt no later than 11th August.
RESPONSIBILITY OF TEAM MANAGERS AND CREW CAPTAINS
Teams are reminded that coastal rowing is an assumed risk sport and the Crew Captain shall be responsible to assess the risks and the ability of the crew to cope with the prevailing and forecast conditions (see World Rowing Rules of Racing Appendix R18 19.c.ii) Crews that feel that they are not competent or confident to train or race in the conditions are expected to not go on the water and to inform the organising committee at the earliest opportunity of their decision.
